The Broker returned my internet query with "I have truck in area that needs to be filled". I explained that I was just getting quotes and did not have an exact list yet. He said ,"no problem" and returned a quote of $1,350. for my move with 9 items on a list. I said I had lots more stuff than that, again he said "no problem", the list was just a formality. He said he increased it to 40 items plus put extra boxes on it. He said we would have more than enough room. His list was very vague. For instance, I said we had a sectional couch. He listed a 2 piece couch, our couch is 8 pieces. However, the quote was still $1,350. Well, when the movers came ( two hours late, 9:30PM ,in the dark and not even the same company) they took one look at my stuff and said, no way are we taking that, and that, and that, because it is not on the list! It turned out that the "list" was a problem! The list had to be specific like I thought! I told the movers that I was told to just finish filling the truck. They said they have to take only what is on the list or I would be charged triple for the stuff they took. What a mess. Federal Relocators who said they would be there "every step of the way", had no after-hours phone number, the broker was unreachable by email and his cell was not being answered I had to let the truck go without the items. When I tried to get my deposit back, ( they do not take credit cards, they insist on a direct check payment using your bank routing number!) I was told to write to a to an email address called info@federalrelocators.com. There was no contact name given and when I got an answer ( a refusal of course) the letter was unsigned. The Broker , Michael, who would be with me "every step of the way" is running to the bank. I returned a email to the unknown writer of the refusal explaining again the situation and have not heard any reply. They are scammers , do not use their services.

I signed up with this company because they looked so good online. The salesperson was friendly. I later found out that they would not be moving my things, I was subbed out to another company.  THAT company has horrible reviews all over the web!  I would never have chosen them. That Federal Relocation Services chose such a sham of a company to work with is ridiculous. Now I am dealing with broken furniture (some to the point of being unusable.). And over three weeks later, some of my items have still not been delivered.  FRS does not want to take responsibility for this nonsense, trying to make me just accept it.    Not going to happen, and I recommend you do not allow yourself to get swindled by this company, no matter how professional looking the website, or how nice the sales pitch.

Quote was constantly changing and still fell 30% short of what my final services cost was. Unacceptable margin for error. Their emergency assistance hotline, intended for day-of-moving services, was not attended on the day of my move and I was left to sign the contract for receipt of goods prior to the movers actually unloading the truck. Hidden/misrepresented fees were common and naturally there was no cooperation in seeking recourse/accommodations after the move was complete. Countless calls and several e-mails went unanswered in my attempt to "open a case" per their own recommendations.Their services are in no way competitive with other shipping companies and you should look elsewhere.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2463

This company is a scam! You sign an agreement with a nice lady who explains everything and makes everything sound great. You agree on an "Inventory" and she gives you an attractive price. She assures you that they won't be additional costs and after you pay one third of the fee she goes away. You will never speak with her again. Now you speak with "Operations". From this point on whatever you agreed with person number one doesn't count. At relocation day, a different company show-up and the problems begin. Different things are not included and will be done at extra cost. But the biggest problem is that this second company doesn't care about the inventory, they charge by cubic feet so with their calculation, the price is double what you had agreed to. By now you have already paid 2/3 of the fee and your furniture is in the truck going to its destination. As the truck leaves, you get an email with the new price. If you complain and tell they you will not pay the new fee, they will just tell you that they will put the stuff in storage and charge you a daily storage fee. What a scam! Stay away from them.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2300

**WORST. Service. EVER* ** I booked with this company in February and paid deposit for June move. First they changed my agent. Second they would not respond to phone calls with new agent. Third did not show up on the schedule day made a phone call on the second day of move to let me know that they were broken down and would be three more days. On the third day there was no communication until late and I was informed that they would not be picking up my Adams and we're going to refund my deposit. Here it is middle of June and I'm still waiting on them to refund my deposit. That to me is theft. Do not use this company if you can find someone else.

OK so we were doing our research my wife an I and we came across this company with the federal seal on it which makes it seem comforting. Well we called the government to make sure if it was actually government affiliated and what do you know. They absolutely are not government or federal about anything they do. I tried verifying the reviews they had put up on the site they have and all the reviews were faked as well with fake pictures lol wow!! Also they weren't smart enough to think people will google all the address and sites they have locations. Well we did and they Photoshoped the seal from the company onto other companies building sites to make it seem they have multiple locations. Ive been around a while and never have a seen such a scam company and such fabricated and fraudulent activity to capitalize on US the dumb consumer. Or so they think we are dumb. If this company contacts you. Run!

I didn't know who to use for the move from New York to Miami. I have never made a move like this before. I asked around and checked for referrals but every mover was either way to expensive or had way to many bad reviews. I ended up putting my info in a website for quotes from reliable movers. I was contacted by Federal Relocation as well as a few other companies but after consideration and research I decided that this was the best decision. I was right. They delivered on every promise. It was a stress free as a move like this could possibly be. I will be referring them to all my family and friends.
